Prize for Young Scientists 2020

The Schwäbisch Gmünd Prize for Young Scientists 2020 was awarded to Martin Leimbach, M. Sc. from the Ilmenau University of Technology, Germany for his research on relation between color and surface morphology of electrodeposited chromium for decorative applications.

Martin Leimbach received the prize from the east president, Prof. Dr. Peter Leisner, during 9th European Pulse Plating Seminar 2020/east forum 2020, 5-6 March 2020 in Vienna, Austria. As head of the Jury Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Paatsch presented the jury’s motivation. After the prize ceremony Martin Leimbach gave an excellent invited talk on his research subject.
