Professor Imre Bakonyi is awarded the distinction Hungarian Order of Merit

EAST representative from Hungary, Professor Imre Bakonyi, has been honored with the distinction Hungarian Order of Merit, Officer's Cross, Civil Division.

The distinction is awarded by the President of the Republic of Hungary Katalin Novák in memory of the Hungarian state's founding and its founder King Saint Stephen.

The distinction is awarded to Professor Imre Bakonyi in acknowledgement of his outstanding research achievements in studying the properties of metallic materials and his significant activity in scientific public life.
