15th International Workshops on Electrodeposited Nanostructures (EDNANO) / EAST Forum 2023

The annual conference of the European Academy of Surface Technology, EAST Forum, was integrated in the 15th International Workshop on Electrodeposited Nanostructures (EDNANO). The conference was held in Metz, France from 15-18 November 2023. It became a well-visited event with 26 oral presentations and 11 posters. The conference attracted 52 attendees from 14 different countries.  
The organizing committee was chaired by prof Nicolas Stein, head of Chemistry and Electrochemistry of Materials at Université de Lorraine.

During the EAST Forum 2023 the prize ceremony for the Schwäbisch Gmünd Prize for Young Scientists 2023 took place.
Price winner Dr. Donghoon Kim from the Multi-Scale Robotics Lab (MSRL) at the ETH Zürich, Switzerland gave a invited talk. His talk was about using magnetic field as trigger of ctalytic Reactions for using the magnetoelectric effect in hydrogen harvesting.

Next to the conference the EAST annual member meeting took place.
